Rural Water Authority of Douglas County

Regional water solutions are most likely to move forward.  Our region includes a number of residents who live outside the cities and towns in unincorporated areas.  Their water issues tend to be a bit unique.  They need an organization so that their interests can be represented, and the region can move forward towards a water solution for the future.  Our economic futures are all intertwined.  We're in this together.

The United States Department of Agriculture offers assistance programs for water and wastewater projects.
Area water interests are working together to address the region's future water needs.
